Not pregnant?  Not a problem.  Although Hot Mama stores devote one-third of their inventory to maternity wear, there's plenty available here for the bunless-oven.  With glossy red wood floors, open cube shelving, and the majority of the gorgeous goods hung against perimeter walls, the shop has an invitingly open layout.  Smack dab in the middle are squashy sofas that beckon the butts of reluctant shopping companions, and a computer station at which accompanying kiddies can entertain themselves as you browse.  Racks are well-stocked, but not overflowing, making the store feel abundant but manageable.  In summary: you’ll pretty much want to move in.

Flirty dresses abound, saturating the store with their riotous prints and marvelous materials.  You’re equally likely to find a timelessly tailored LBD as you are to stumble upon a super sexy sundress that you sure don’t need but sure do covet. Hot Mama stocks a fabulous assortment of Matt & Nat handbags, a Canadian line made entirely some mysterious, bizarrely lightweight vegan material that ought to be called I Can’t Believe It’s Not Leather. Matt & Nat’s shapes are inventive and contemporary, and every piece is high-quality, and totally affordable.  If you’re looking for something more substantial, the mouth-watering array of Roxbury bags is sure to please.  Hot Mama also offers a small selection of affordable, of-the-moment jewelry; outfit-defining Elin and Clara belts; intimates from brands such as Hanky Panky, On Gossamer, and Spanx; and a smattering of mid-range, funky shoes.
