Dark, overstuffed, and moody, B-Squad looks a bit like your quirky college housemate’s messy bedroom. Broken-in boots and well-loved vintage pumps line the front window, while brimming round racks of embellished skirts, wildly printed shirts, and bulky jackets beckon from the shop’s front. Two tall racks of dresses near the fitting rooms yield frocks from the 40s through the 70s, but not much beyond … if you're looking for 80s throwbacks, you’re better off hitting thrift.

The collection is carefully curated; Most pieces are in excellent condition, and are priced fairly as such. Although there are a few classic, pared-down items to be found, most of this merchandise is quirky and distinctive. B-Squad is a place to come for embellishments and fun, not timeless vintage staples.
