Description

Yes, it’s a gallery. But this compact, white-walled space also holds some of the most compelling jewelry and accessories in the Cities. Gallery 360 is light and bright inside, and although every inch of counter space is crammed with intriguing objects and the cases are virtually overflowing with merch, walking its pale wood floors is still a serene, contemplative experience. The jewelry counter and wrap desk dominate the front of the shop, and peering through the glass you’ll see massive statement necklaces fashioned from twisted and blackened metal, delicate gemstone earrings, leather cuffs heavy with hardware, and bright sculptural resin bracelets. You may find a pair of simple silver hoops if you scour the offerings long enough, but most of the jewelry here is unusual, enchanting, and utterly covetable.

Shelving and tables along the sides of the store offer up ceramic vases and carved wood bowls alongside quirky gag gifts and small sculptures. Tucked amongst this careful chaos are handknit wristwarmers, a few gorgeous scarves, and supple small leather goods, so keep your eyes peeled.

Two racks of clothing toward the back of the shop space reveal an abundance of draped and crinkled fabrics. Black dominates the color palette, and unusual lines such as Belarus-based Yuvita offer sculptural blazers and vests, long sweeping skirts, and dresses with unexpected detailing. It’s an art gallery, after all, and the clothing all looks like stuff that artists would wear.

Few cheap fashion fixes are available at Gallery 360, but the next time you need a skirt that screams “creative maven” or a necklace that will make beholders both envious and curious, stop in for a leisurely browse. You’re sure to score.
